SUN PRAIRIE-Patricia "Pat" Clara Norman, age 81, passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2016. She was born on Sept. 23, 1934, in Waterloo, daughter of Edwin and Patricia (Dowd) Motl.

Pat was united in marriage to Dwight G. Norman on Oct. 29, 1955, in Waterloo. Pat graduated from Waterloo High School and St. Mary's School of Nursing. Pat worked at the National Institute of Health and worked through the polio epidemic. Pat and Dwight moved to Milwaukee and then to Sun Prairie where Pat lived for the last 47 years. She was a charter member of St. Albert The Great Catholic Church. Pat was a loving mother and wife. She had a love of music and enjoyed playing piano.

Pat is survived by her children, Dwight L. "Rick", Suzanne P. (Jeffrey) Norman Barnes, Michael S. (Shelly) and Robert J. Norman; grandchildren, Amanda Barnes and Cristen and Emily Norman; sisters, Valery Stumpff and JoAnn (Edward) Klotzbuecher; sister-in-law, Jean Ann Norman; and many other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2420 St. Albert Dr., Sun Prairie, at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, with Monsignor Terrence Connors presiding. Visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terr., Sun Prairie, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, as well as from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at the church on Tuesday.
