Sun Prairie - Oscar M. Sell, age 93, was brought into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was born on April 10, 1920 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, the son of Otto and Mary (Krietz) Sell. Oscar served in the United States Army during WWII and most recently proudly flew on the Badger Honor Flight. On May 1, 1943, Oscar was united in marriage to Helen Loomans. For over 34 years, Oscar worked as a manager in the parts and service department for Kayser Automobile Group until his retirement in 1985. He was a very handyman and was known to be able to fix anything and everything that crossed his path. For many years, he worked as Cress Funeral Home's maintenance man. He was a loving, kind and dear man that will be missed by all who knew him.
Oscar is survived by his loving daughter; Jeanne (Terry) Belieu of Washington, two grandchildren; Christopher (Sheri) Cornell of Washington and Cara Cornell of Phoenix, AZ, two great grandchildren; Marissa Cornell of Washington and Breanna Cornell of Phoenix and a brother; Clarence Sell of Horicon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Helen in December of 2010.
Memorial services will be held at Faith Living Center, 131 Clarmar Drive, Sun Prairie on Wednesday (TODAY) November 20, 2013 at 10:00 am. Private burial will be held at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Faith Living Center for the special care given our father.
