Orvella Hegley

Stoughton - Orvella E. Jones Hegley, age 99, died on April 26, 2015 at Skaalen Retirement Services. She was born on January 18, 1916 in the Township of Arena, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clarence and Minnie (Binder) Molbreak. She married Harold Russell Jones in 1936 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin and they resided in Oregon, Wisconsin for 21 years. They had one son, LeRoy Harold Jones. Harold preceded her in death in 1957. Orvella moved to Madison, Wisconsin and attended and graduated from MATC in Nursing and worked at the V.A. Hospital for 19 years.
She married Martin G. Hegley in 1975 at Bethel Lutheran Church, Madison, Wisconsin and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was an active member of Bethel Church for many years.

Orvella is survived by her son LeRoy H. Jones, two grandchildren Jeffrey R. Jones (Shari) and Traci L. Rezabek ( Steve); great grandchildren Jessica (Jeff), Russell (Jeff), Mari (Traci) and (Christopher )Traci; Two great, great grandchildren Caden ( Mari) and Lilli ( Mari); Two brothers Vernon (Jean) and Leland Molbreak, two nieces Marilyn (Mark), Nancy (Bruce) and two nephews Jim (Elayne) and Christopher (Dale)

Memorials may be made out to Covenant Lutheran Church of Stoughton or Bethel Lutheran Church of Madison.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Covenant Lutheran Church, 1525 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton with Reverend Jerry Tews officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Friday. Friends and family are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service. Orvella will be laid to rest at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Oregon.
