Orlando Demaroney

Madison, WI / Hyde Park, NY: Orlando L. DeMaroney, age 89, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, August 16, 2012. He was born August 9, 1923 in Millbrook, NY the son of Andrew and Maryann (Franko) DeMaroney. Orlando served his country in the United States Army during WWII, stationed in the Philippines. He was united in marriage to Regina Hanlon October 17, 1946 in Pleasant Valley, and they shared 65 years together. Regina preceded Orlando in death in June of 2011. He was a member of Hyde Park Methodist Church, and the Shekomeck Free Acceptance Masons of Pleasant Valley. Orlando is survived by his daughter; Galeann MacWilliams, son-in-law; Peter S. MacWilliams, DVM, granddaughter; Heather Dwyer (James Syverud , husband), grandson; Matthew MacWilliams (Stacie, wife), and 3 great grandchildren; Liam Dwyer, Sydney MacWilliams, and Bryce MacWilliams. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at STANFORDVILLE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 5928 Route 82, Standfordville, NY. The family suggests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
