Bril, Olive "Mickey"

Wauwatosa: Mickey Bril, age 91, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Madison. She was born December 22, 1923 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Frank and Elsie (Killick) Gatford. She married Jack W. Bril in 1952, and had five children. Mickey was an avid gardener, loved to read (especially British mysteries), debate politics, watch old movies, eat hot fudge sundaes and shop at Mayfair. She had a sharp wit, and a wonderful sense of humor. She was one in a million. Mickey is survived by her loving daughters Cathy Sullivan (Jim Twesme) and Jeanne Bril; daughters-in-law Mary Bril and Cathy Bril; cherished grandchildren Jeremy, Jason, and Katie Bril, Jack Bril, Michael and Kyle Sullivan, and great grandchildren Tessa and Tavin Bril. She was preceded in death by her husband and children Gordon, Laurie and John. The family would like to express thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at Covenant Oaks/Oakwood Village West. There will be a private family service on Tuesday, 12/22. Please share a memory.
