O. Higgason

Madison - O. Lucille Higgason, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at St. Mary's Care Center in Madison. She was born to Roy and Belle (Arnot) Frank in Blanchardville. Lucille was a Business College graduate and worked for the City of Madison. She was united in marriage to James Higgason in January, 1945. She enjoyed working in the flower garden, bird watching, cake decorating, traveling and time with her family.

Lucille is survived by her husband; two sisters, Gladys Hammel of Milwaukee and Irma McFee of Madison; two children, Craig (Barb) Higgason of Georgia and Janet (Paul) Varoni of Michigan; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Mary's Care Center, 3401 Maple Grove Drive, Madison. A private burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army, 3030 Darbo Drive, Madison, WI 53714. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Care Center for all they did for Lucille.
