Norman Ulber, 89, of Madison, Wisconsin died March 25, 2015.
He was born to John and Mary Ulber on September 29, 1925 in East Chicago, Indiana.
Norman graduated from East Chicago Roosevelt High School in 1943 and graduated from Purdue - Calumet in 1953.
He married Margaret (Peggy nee Kish) in 1950 and they were longtime residents of Munster, Indiana.
Norman served in the Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater and he proudly displayed the medals he earned. Norman was a lifelong member of Faith United Church of Christ in Hammond, Indiana. He was employed for many years at Superior Engineering in Hammond, Indiana.
Norman is survived by his brother Joe (Malvine) Ulber of Owensboro, Kentucky, his children Meg (Rick) Hannah of Madison, Wisconsin and Carie (late Michael) Dabdoub of Bartlett, Illinois, and one grandchild, Elizabeth. He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy and his brother John (late Irene) Ulber.
A memorial service for both Norman and Peggy will be held on April 26 at 2:00 PM at Faith United Church of Christ in Hammond, Indiana.
