Stoughton- Norman Edward Schwacher, age 86, passed away on December 9th, 2017 at the VA hospital after an abrupt abdominal aneurysm rupture. He was the husband to the love of his life, Lucille Schwacher and they shared 64 years of marriage together.
Norman was born on August 3rd, 1931 to Bernard Schwacher and Sally Love who preceded him in death as well as a brother, Ron Schwacher.
Norman spent most of his adult life working hard as a trucker for Fulerton Metals in Milwaukee. He was very devoted to his family. He never missed a family get together and had to hug and kiss every person upon arrival and departure. He loved his family beyond measure and made sure we all knew how special we each were to him. He also loved to tease and joke to make any family gathering joyful.
Norman is survived by his wife, Lucille, daughters Sandy Denson (Frank Geraci), Debra Bett, and son Mike Schwacher. Seven grandchildren: Jimmy Bett, Kimberly Boots, Dan (Serena) Denson, Jamie (Brad) Gausmann, Jennifer Denson, Ryan Williamson, and Amy (Dan) Price. Eight great grandchildren: Starr, Dakota, Tristan, Analee, Rilee, Owen, Lauren, and Ava, and one great, great grandchild, Chloe.
Norman fought in the Korean war and received a purple heart for his service after suffering a major injury. Norman spent the last eight months of his life caring for his daughter to which he was very devoted.
He will be achingly missed by all of us.
