Norman Moe

Stoughton- Norman L. Moe, age 78, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017. He was born in Stoughton on February 21, 1939, the son of Edwin and Marie Moe. Norman attended Stoughton High School where he played football and was active with the Norwegian Dancers. He graduated with the class of 1957. Norman enlisted and served his country for two years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening, and spending time at the casino. Norman's passion was farming. He is survived by eight brothers, Roger (Marilyn), Tom, Robert (Judy), Lyle, Donald (Susan), Nels (Marcia), Steven (Sue), and Keith; and 17 nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Burial, with Military honors, will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Norman's name to the Stoughton Area Veterans Memorial Park. Please share your memories of Norman.
