                      Baby Steps
Baby steps you taught us the day you arrived.
Baby steps you walked us each day you survived.
You've never seen a smile so greatly shine.
As your tiny fingers wrapped tightly around mine.
Ohhh our hearts were forever entwined.
Baby steps you showed me another surprise.
I'd touch your tiny toes and you're ticklish, I'd find.
Baby our lives you so inspired,
But now my lil' kickboxer you have grown tired.
Baby steps you waved to Gramma a tiny Hi.
Baby steps you waved again, was it goodbye.
Baby steps to heaven as we all cry,
As Gramma sang Jesus Loves Me'
Baby steps to heaven Nolan,
Then fly angel fly ""Love Gramma Rae""
Baby steps, baby steps, it's now crept into dawn
I would call your nurse daily that kept gramma strong.
Nurse Julie she told me that I could still call.
I told her she was one of Gods angels, a gift to us all.
