MADISON - On May 23rd, 2015 Neva Marie Goglio transitioned from this earthly life. Neva was born March 9, 1923 in Viroqua, WI to Fred and Ella (Clements) Henry. She graduated from Viroqua High School in 1940. After graduation Neva attended MATC, La Crosse, WI. She was employed at Wisconsin General Hospital and La Crosse Rubber Company.
During WWII she met and married Richard J Goglio at Keesler Field in Biloxi, MS on February 18, 1944. They settled in Washington D.C. where they started their family. They returned to Wisconsin in 1952 to reunite with Neva's family.
Neva worked at the Hoffman House Restaurant, WI State DOT and Capital Indemnity Corporation where she developed deep lasting friendships.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roland and David; sister Catherine Hansen, husband Richard and sons Richard Jr. and Robert.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce Goglio (Roy Davis) and son Michael Goglio (June), six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by Dorothy Goglio and dear friend Kate Wilke who were loving companions.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 29th, 2015 at 11 am at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison, WI 53705. Friends and family may call from 10 am until time of service. Inurnment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
