In Loving Memory

Neva Ilene Thomas Edge, age 96 died on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Willows Nursing Home. Neva was born on September 4, 1917 in La Farge, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Hattie (Mahan) Thomas. She married Kenneth H. Edge in South Carolina.
Neva's first job was at Johnson and Johnson in Chicago. When Ken went into the military, Neva moved back and worked as a waitress for 5 years at the Madison Club and 20 years at the Lorraine Hotel. She also worked 15 years at Rite way leasing.
She is survived by her sons David (Georgia) of Sun Prairie and Kenneth (Donna) of Monona; grandchildren Jason (Laura), David Jr ( Heather),Steve and Debi; great grandchildren Paige, Jackson, Kelsey, Dylan,Ashley, Austin and Caleb and many nieces and nephews.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth; brothers Virgil (Alice), Burl and Orlan (Ona) Thomas; Sister Maxine (Bill) Wallace; grandson Bryan.
At her request there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be private at Highland Memory Gardens.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to St. Jude Hospice for their loving care and support. Also, the family would like to express appreciation to Georgia Edge for taking care of Neva in her and David's home in Sun Prairie for over 10 years.
