Nancy Sinha

MADISON - Nancy Griggs Sinha, age 80, died peacefully on Dec. 8, 2013. Born May 10, 1933, she was a long-time resident of Madison, and 1950 graduate of Madison West High School. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Southeast Asian Studies and Master of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology. She traveled the world over with her husband, Dr. Shyamal "Sam" Sinha, who predeceased her.

She is survived by her three children, Michael and David Sinha, Margaret (Sinha) Kupfer; and five grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at ST. MARY'S CARE CENTER, 3401 Maple Grove Drive, Madison on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Mary's Care Center Activities and Westminister Presbyterian Church.
