Nancy J. Sandholm

Stoughton – Nancy J. Sandholm, age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 19, 2023, at Skaalen Home in Stoughton.  She was born March 18, 1942, in the Town of Rutland to the late Edon and Kathryn (Ayers) Onsrud Jr.   She enjoyed family gatherings, going on drives to State Parks to enjoy the fall colors, looking at flowers, gardening, watching birds and making rich desserts.

Nancy is survived by her children from a previous marriage: Christopher (Ann), Rebecca (Jim), and Andrew; grandchildren: Paul (Jamie), Erik, Katie, Richard, Lydia, Alex, Durrant, Caroline, Prudence, Molly and Gretchen; great grandchildren Hannah and Sawyer; siblings:  Mark (Betty), Julia; special friend Sheila Rall, and is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom Sandholm, her son Daniel, brother Trygve, sister Sara, and is further survived by nieces, nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday November 3, 2023, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 206 W. Prospect St. Stoughton.  Visitation will be from 4:00 PM– 7:00 PM on Thursday November 2, 2023, at Cress Funeral Home and also from 10:00 AM on Friday until the service at the funeral home.  Burial at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Stoughton.

As a friend of Bill W. , she mentored many along her journey through daily life.
