Nancy O'Connor

Nancy O’Connor, 92, of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Skaalen Nursing Home in Stoughton, Wisconsin.

She was born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1934 to Blanche and Lawrence Hart. A lifelong Madisonian, Nancy attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she studied to become a physical therapist, and shortly thereafter met her late husband, John, as a patient. She raised two sons, of whom she was very proud, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Nancy loved the Packers and watched nearly every game. She always had a smile on her face and brought joy to everyone who had the honor of knowing her. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy is survived by her sons, John (Jodi) and Rich (Michelle) O’Connor; sister, Janet (Frank) Cooper; and grandchildren, Hannah (Bobby), Will and Anthony O’Connor, Kiah (Mike) Rizzo, Carson (Michelle) Ehrke and great grandchildren Madison and Michael Rizzo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert; and husband, John O’Connor Sr.

A private family service will be held for the immediate family.
