"A little while and I will be gone from you. From whither I cannot tell. From nowhere we come, into nowhere we go. What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset." – Crowfoot, Blackfoot chief (c. 1830-1890)
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Ledge View Nature Center in Chilton, WI or Lakeshore Humane Society in Manitowoc, WI.
