Nancee Mcchesney

MADISON- Nancee Ann McChesney, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Meriter Hospital.

Nancee was born in Madison, the oldest daughter of Benjamin and Anne Cleven, and graduated East High School in 1953.

She married Lester McChesney on March 29th, 1958 and together they raised three children: Cleven, Carol, and Collin.

Nancee worked for the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department, Milwaukee Sentinal, and Gimbals among others before embarking on her own successful upholstery and sewing business. After retiring from real estate she turned her focus to her passions of painting, gardening, fishing, golf, and family.

She is survived by her husband Lester, son Cleven (Staci), children Molly and Charlie, daughter Carol Johnson (Rich), and son Collin (Kristen) son Tyler.

She was preceded by her parents, and sister Gail Krinke. Nancee lived her life with passion and vigor.

Funeral services will be held at ADVENT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7118 Old Sauk Road, Madison, on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
