Myles Borstad

Myles Borstad passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born in Westby, WI on November 21, 1938, and grew up in Plain, WI. He graduated from St. Luke’s Catholic School in Plain, WI. In 1956.

Myles worked at Oscar Mayer Foods in Madison, WI for 31 years, retiring in May 1996. After a well-deserved retirement, Myles spent a good deal of time enjoying our cabin at Crystal Lake in Lodi, WI, where he drove around in his golf cart, looking to have a “cold one or two” with one of his many friends at the campground.

Our Dad’s main goal was to always take care of his family, and especially his granddaughter, Autumn, and his “grand dogs” Harley, Ozzy, and Vinny.

Survivors include his wife, Deanna; sons, Wayne (Sarah), and Steve – both of Waunakee, WI; granddaughter Autumn (Josiah) Kelsey of Windsor, WI.; sister, Marlene Liegel of Spring Green, WI.

Myles was preceded in death by his parents, Milo, and June Borstad, and his sister, Joan Jones.

Our Dad will be remembered as someone who went above and beyond, making sure everyone felt at home. His generous and caring nature will always be missed.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
