Waunakee - Monica M. Skrum, age 45, died at her home in Waunakee on Wed. March 11, 2015 following a brief illness. She was born in Madison on May 19, 1969 to George and Judine "Judy" ( Niesen) Skrum. She was previously employed at The Town of Westport and the Waunakee Tribune. Monica loved her son and treasured her three cats.
Survivors include her son Jackson; her mom Judy; a brother Mark (Ann) and a nephew Jake. She was preceded in death by her father George in 2002.
A funeral service will be held on Monday March 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Hwy Q Waunakee. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A private burial will follow on Tuesday.
