Mina Lee Sergenian

Mina Lee Sergenian, 51, Madison, WI has gone to her Heavenly home after a lengthy, incredibly brave fight against cancer. Mina passed onto Heaven Thursday February 10th, 2011 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Canton, Ohio May 2, 1959, Mina lived life to the fullest, even after her diagnosis. Raised mostly in Oconto, WI, Mina went on to marry Bob Sergenian and have three amazing children and a life in Middleton, WI. The artist and creator behind the successful card line Random Thoughts from Mina Lee Studio and Minaleestudio.com, Mina's creativity not only touched her family and friends, but spread around the world with her ""because it's always good to giggle"" line of smile provoking cards and artwork. There really aren't enough words to describe the creative, stylistic, unique approach she took to art and life. A lover of her family, her friends, I Love Lucy, Wizard of Oz and all things fun and whimsical, Mina leaves a huge gap in our lives that will be filled with every memory of all she brought to each of us. Mina is survived by Bob Sergenian; sons, Rob Sergenian and Joe (Katlyn) Sergenian; a daughter, Kait Sergenian; a brother, Mike (Mary) Skaggs and a sister, Michele (Ray) Olson. In addition, in-laws, Robert and Sally Sergenian, aunts and uncles, adoring nieces and nephews, sister and brother in-laws, and great-nieces and nephews mourn her passing. Mina is greatly loved by many including her close friends Megan, Michael and Mary...and too many more to mention, yet they know who they are to her. Mina was preceded in death by her parents Don Skaggs and Jeanette Skaggs-Schroeder, her grandparents and her nephew Joel Olson. Friends and family may call at HOLY WISDOM MONASTERY, 4200 County Rd M. Middleton at 10 am on Thursday, February 17, 2011 for a visitation and 1 pm for a memorial service and celebration of Mina.
