Mina Marie Hill

Mina Marie Hill, age 78, of Waunakee passed away on Thurs., May 8, 2025, at Home Again Memory Care in Waunakee. Mina was born on November 30,1946 in Stambaugh, MI. She was the daughter of Ione and Carl Lind. She married Raymond Hill on Nov. 27, 1965 in Milwaukee, WI. Mina volunteered with the Dane County Humane Society and Waunakee Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed quilting and attending her grandsons’ sporting and school events.

Survivors include her children, Lyn Hill (Kraig Bouchard), John (Lisa) Hill and Matt Hill; grandsons, Carter, Jace, Jacob and Owen Hill; and many beloved extended family members.

Mina was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Carol Oshima, Jean Odgers and Carl Lind.

The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Home Again Memory Care, the Agrace staff, the Poker Chicks, Pastor Ben from First Presbyterian Church in Waunakee, and the many wonderful friends throughout her life and during her final journey with Alzheimer’s disease.

In honor of Mina’s love of color and the Waunakee Warriors, please feel free to wear a bright color, turquoise was her favorite, or Waunakee sports clothing to her service.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 5763 County Rd Q, Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in Crystal Falls, Michigan on June 14, 2025. A Reception will follow at Rex’s Innkeeper in Waunakee.
