Michiko Holiday

Madison - Michiko Holiday, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 17th, 2013, peacefully at home. Michiko was born in Japan on January 10, 1929. She married Paul Martin Holiday on January 29, 1965 in Tokyo, Japan and they resided in Madison, Wisconsin since their marriage. She was a proud, longstanding member of S.G.I and will be remembered by many as a spiritual mentor, dear friend, and honored pioneer.

Michiko is survived by one son, Fuminobu (Asae) Shibuya; daughters, MaryRay (Ken) Katsuma of Middleton, Diana Martin of San Diego, Gail Holiday of Madison, Barb (James) Kilbane of DeForest; grandchildren, Ryo Shibuya, Reo Shibuya, Kim (Paul) Fiskratti, Amy (Chris) Milligan, Amber Holiday, Brianna Schultz, Emma Kilbane, Jameson Kilbane and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband, Paul.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24th, 2013 at 3pm at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 East Washington Avenue. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2pm until the hour of the service.

Michiko will be missed beyond words for her humor, kindness, and dedication to the cause of World Peace.
