Michael Kruse

Sun Prairie - Michael "Mike" Kruse, age 58, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Agrace Hospice Center, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on January 17, 1955 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.

He left behind two daughters, Michelle and Megan; his soul mate and best friend of 18 years Lori Moore of Sun Prairie; Lori's children, Lisa, Mark, Amanda, and Christopher, as well as 7 grandchildren; his mother, Mary Kruse of Baraboo, four sisters, Linda, Susan, Diane, and Judy and a brother, David. He also left behind many loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A special thank you to family friends, Ron, Jimmy, and Jacob.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Carl H. Kruse.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Joji Reddy Allam officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Madison. A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Monday, September 16, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mike's family would also like to thank the staff at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, especially nurse Laura. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
