Stoughton - Michael B. Akers, age 64, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on Nov. 22, 1951, in Tacoma, Washington, son of Robert and Irene Akers.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Terry (Mentink) Akers; two brothers, John Akers and Bob (Linde) Akers; brother-in-law, Scott (Kathy) Mentink; niece, Chelsea Mentink; nephews, Tyler (Gesina) Mentink, Brett (Katie) Mentink, and Connor Akers.
Family will be having private services for Michael.
