Meta Hoel

Stoughton- Meta F. Hoel, age 93, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Stoughton Hospital. She was born in Lake Mills on February 22, 1919, the daughter of Karl and Alma Thorman. On January 22, 1944 Meta married Lloyd Hoel. Together they farmed in the Stoughton and Cambridge area for 36 years. Meta is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at East Koshkonong Lutheran Church, 454 E. Church Road, Cambridge, with Rev. David Nelsestuen officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon immediately following the services in the church fellowship hall. Burial will take place in Eastside Cemetery in Stoughton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at church. Memorials may be made to East Koshkonong Lutheran Church.
