Middleton - Meredithe Ailene Shuler passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born on October 6, 1910 at Kinsley, Kansas. Meredithe was a resident of the Attic Angels Community in Middleton. She was the wife of the late George P. Shuler, Jr. of Madison; daughter of Myrle J. and Elizabeth L. (Montgomery) Goddard of Kinsley, KS. She is survived by a daughter, Abigail S. Schreier (David) of Sunset, South Carolina; a son, Gorge Phillip Shuler, III (Patricia) of New Orleans, Louisiana; and a step-son, Elliott E. Shuler of Madison. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Stephanie de Sales Shuler Colivin (Chris) of New York, New York, David F. Grams, Jr. (Shari) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Sarah B. Shuler of New Orleans, Louisiana, Derek S. Grams (Bridgett) of Whitefish Bay, WI and Matthew P. Shuler (Jenny) of New Orleans, Louisiana. She was also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shuler was graduated from Dodge City Business College and was a member (past president) of the Visiting Nurse Service of Madison, the YWCA of Madison and a long-time member of the Madison Symphony Orchestra League, the Attic Angels Association, Maple Bluff Country Club and Bethel Lutheran Church. Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice in Meredith's name is suggested.
