Melisa Myrtice Harness

Madison - Melisa “Lisa” Myrtice Harness, age 57, went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Melisa was born on May 14, 1966, in Madison, WI.  She was the daughter of Elaine (Nordness/Withers) and Melvin Harness.  Melisa loved to spend time with her family and friends, fishing, watching sports, attending music events, live venues, holiday events and art.  Melisa was a fabulous artist.  Her artwork was simply amazing.  She worked through many hardships, but never complained, staying positive, keeping a smile on her face.  Everyone knew Melisa, she will be greatly missed for her sense of humor and concern for others, while always trying to help others.  She lived 57 years, living a humble and modest life. 

She leaves many memories with her family; her children, Danielle Stiger and Thaddeus Hauge; grandchildren, Malaysia and Julian Lancaster; brothers and sisters, Kevin (Kristina) Harness, Jory (LInda) Withers and Sharanne (George) Bridges; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, along with four brothers and sisters.

A private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, for immediate family.
