Melba Shirley (Williams) Regelin, age 88, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Nazareth House in Stoughton. Â She was born in Duluth, Minnesota, a daughter of Rex and Hannah (Hall) Freeman. Â Melba was married to Lawrence Williams until his death in 1982. Â In 1986, she married Walter Regelin, who also preceded her in death. Â Melba worked for many years along with Larry at the Warner Medlin Photography Studio as a colorist, and also worked at the Normandy apartments for many years. Â At age 82, she came out of retirement to work with Meals on wheels. Â Melba was very involved with programs for seniors in McFarland, her apartment community, and was a president of the Senior Citizens Association. Â She was a loving mother and grandmother, and made friends wherever she went. Â She is survived by three daughters, Sally Duncan, Mary Beale, and Debra (Kendall) Schultz; 14 grand children, Jerry, John, Mark, Markie, Jonathan, Tami, Kim, Jeni, David, Alan, Jim, Becky, Tim and Nick; 20 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Meredith; 3 brothers, Rolland, Homer and John; and several nieces and nephews. Â She was preceded in death by her two husbands; a sister, Annabelle; and a brother, Floyd. Â A Memorial gathering will be held at the McFarland Village Hall 5915 Milwaukee Street, on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
