Maxwell Cobb

Sun Prairie - Maxwell C. "Max" Cobb, age 90, died peacefully at his home in Sun Prairie on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He was born on March 17, 1926 in Middletown, OH to Stanley and Gladys (Combs) Cobb. He graduated from Middletown High School in 1944. Max married the love of his life, Mary Joan on July 15, 1950 in Richmond, IN. He was the President and owner of Midwest Wholesale until his retirement in January of 1991. Max enjoyed cards, playing golf and spending time with friends and family.

Max adored his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He is survived by three sons, Mark (Julie), Bob (Chris), and Mike (Katie); seven grandchildren, Lori, Robert (Kate), David, Andrew, Tyler, Kevin and Kristen; one great granddaughter, Riley.

A celebration of Max's life will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. with Father Mike Tess officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to give special thanks to Zigmas Vievesis "Ziggy", Svilana Duovska "Lana" and Dawn Herrmann for their tremendous love, care, and support for the last five and half years.
