Maxine Harp

Madison - Maxine H. Harp, age 100, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016. Maxine was born in Grant County on November 18, 1915 to the late Max and Etta Pagel. She graduated from Madison Business College and worked as a secretary at the U.S.D.A. Bee Research Unit from 1941 until her retirement in 1980. Maxine loved to travel with friends and family. She always said to travel while you can. She had many fond memories of her nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much. She was also very appreciative of the loving care her husband gave to her.

Maxine is survived by her loving husband Emmett, 2 nephews, 5 nieces, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Bonin and Illene Cushman and her parents.

A private graveside service will take place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Agrace HospiceCare.
