Maplewood, NJ / Madison, WI -- Marygrace McAuley Robinson, age 79, passed away Monday Feb. 16, 2015 in Madison, WI. She was born July 2, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ to the late John and Rose (Walowick) McAuley. After devoting 17 years of her life to the Catholic Church at various posts as a Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity, Marygrace lived most of the remainder of her life in Maplewood, NJ. She is a graduate of St. Michaels High School, she received a BA from Spring Hill College, an MSW from Catholic University and her PhD from Seton Hall University. She married William A. Robinson July 1, 1972 in Sterling, NJ. Marygrace was a family therapist for 40 years before retiring in Nov. 2010. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening and reading mysteries.
Marygrace is survived by her husband of 42 years William A. Robinson of Madison, WI; son William J. Robinson and wife Katherine Magnuson of Madison, WI; son Michael A. Robinson and wife Sarah Robinson of Portland, ME; and 4 grandchildren Rachel, Abby, Zachary and Sarah. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Thomas, Douglas and John; and step son Jonathan.
Funeral services were held on 2/20/15 with a burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
