Maryann Crownhart Turner, 91, of Madison,WI transitioned peacefully on July 31, 2026 with her

family by her side. She was born in Madison in 1935, the eldest daughter of Charles and Marion

Crownhart. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 73 years Warren “ Fritz” Turner, children

Sara, Fred (Nancy) and Ann (Mary), five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Maryann loved nature and the great outdoors spending time in Solon Springs, WI where she

and Fritz resided after retirement from a full working life. Hiking, canoeing, fishing, boating,

kayaking and spending time with family and friends. She was generous with her time and

resources. She loved well and was well loved. Mom, you will be greatly missed.
