Mary Wennlund

Stoughton- Mary Wennlund, age 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at her home. She was born on November 1, 1922 to Charles and Elsie (Mates) Minor. On January 18, 1943 Mary married Warren "Bud" Wennlund. She was a devoted homemaker all of her life and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mary volunteered in many capacities, all involving helping people. She is survived by her four children, Pamela Leach, Deb, Rebecca Columber and David; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild due in May. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud, in July 2011; son, Steve, in 1978; and brother, Charles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Stoughton United Methodist Church, 535 Lincoln Avenue, with Rev. Lamarr Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Monday. Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc.
