Mary Goodavish

Madison: Mary Goodavish, age 59, passed away peacefully at Agrace HospiceCare on Wednesday, July 3, 2013.
She was born in Milwaukee May 4, 1954 to James and Dorothy (Lasch) Goodavish, and graduated from St. Joan Antida High School, Milwaukee in 1972. Mary worked as a project manager at Monona State Bank, and earlier for US Bank. Mary loved sewing, cooking, flower gardening and cross stiching. She will be remembered as a very generous person. Mary had a deep love for her cats, which were many over the years. Door County visits was her fondest memories, along with doll collecting, and her interest in pop music. Mary is survived by her mother, Dorothy Goodavish, brothers, Gregory (Janean) Goodavish, Rev. Michael Goodavish, Stephen (Jill) Goodavish, sisters, Lea Belke, Paula Goodavish, and Serena (Darwin) Lucas. She is further survived by a niece Emily Belke, and nephews, Matthew and Daniel (Amanda) Goodavish, Alex Belke and Noah and Caleb Lucas. She was preceded in death by her father James.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI 53705, with a visitation from 4:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, or a charity of one's choice.
