Mary Jane Calbert, age 96, formerly of Madison, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Arborwood Lodge Assisted Living Center in Wisconsin Rapids.

Private family services were held at Cress Funeral Home in Madison, WI.

Jane was born October 11, 1920 in Erie, PA to Wallace and Mary (Wilhelm) Fargo. She married Harold E. Calbert in 1942 and he preceded her in death in August 2000.

Jane is survived by son, Brad (Debbrah Courtney) Calbert of Denver, CO; two daughters, Barbara (Gus) Mancuso of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Bonnie Lawyer of Franklin, WI; 6 grandchildren, John (Rebecca) Mancuso, Vince (Jona) Mancuso, Jim (Stephanie) Mancuso, Parker (Sam) Gerk, Scott (Carolina) Suminski and Shayne (Katie) Suminski; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her three brothers.

Memorials can be designated to Incourage Community Foundation-Tribune Building Fund.

"Jane's family would like to thank everyone for the care, concern and kindness shown to Jane especially Arborwood Assisted Living staff, Aspirus Hospice employees, Dr. Wessling, nurses and aides at Aspirus Riverview Hospital and to Pastor Tim Wenger.
