Mary Mabel Buckley

DeForest-Mary M. Buckley, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg.  She was born on April 15, 1913, in Madison the daughter of Nicholas & Matilda (Agrloff) Stallman. Mary was united in marriage to Oliver Buckley on May 6, 1939 in DeForest and was married over 40 years until his death on October 9, 1979.  She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of Burke Lutheran Church.  Mary loved to work in her garden, raising vegetables and flowers, baking and canning.  She is survived by her children, Roger (fiancee Pat Aeschlimann) Buckley, Deerfield, DeWayne (Kathy) Buckley, DeForest, Merlin (fiancee Penny Emerson) Buckley, DeForest and Janet (Thomas) Williamson, Madison; 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, brother Nicholas and sister Ruby Federer.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at Burke Lutheran Church, 5720 Portage Road, Madison with Karen Tribbey officiating.  Burial will be held in the church's cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  The family would like to thank the staffs at St. Mary's Hospital and HospiceCare Center.   Cress Funeral & Cremation Service 3325 E.
