Marvin Charles Milleville, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born on March 2, 1937, in Aurora, Illinois, to Martin and Esther Milleville. Marvin moved to Sun Prairie before settling in Blackhawk, Wisconsin, where he grew up on the family farm. He graduated from Prairie du Sac High School in 1954. Following graduation, Marvin served his country in the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
Marvin met and married his wife, Heidi, on September 24, 1960. Together, they made their home in Fitchburg for 45 years before retiring to Sun Prairie.
Marvin dedicated his professional life to his trade as an electrician and was a proud member of IBEW Local 159. Over the years, he worked with many area contractors and contributed to countless projects throughout the Madison area. A true craftsman at heart, Marvin loved building, creating, and fixing things — always ready to lend a hand to family, friends, and neighbors. He found great joy in helping others and took pride in every project, big or small.
Above all else, Marvin cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, finding his greatest happiness in time spent with his loved ones.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Heidi; children, Laura (Todd) Grams, Glen (Sue) Milleville; grandchildren, Cassie (Cody) Heyrman, Mara (Luke) Joswiak, Erin Milleville, Katie Milleville and five great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Ring, and Richard (Denise) Milleville. He is further survived by many sisters/brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Columbus Health and Rehab, as well as Agrace Hospice. Marvin received wonderful care, your kindness to him will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be at the Cress Center, (6021 University Ave, Madison WI) from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow, and a private burial will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens.
