Marvin Kolste

Lodi / Harmony Grove - Marvin L. Kolste, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 18, 2016. Marvin was born on February 10, 1942 to Lawrence and Mary (Selmer) Kolste. He went to East High School. Shortly after he enlisted in the military; serving in both the Army and Marines. Marvin was a member of American Legion Post 7694 in Prairie du sac. He enjoyed spending time with his family, relatives, and friends.

Marvin is survived by his son, Ken (Patty) Kolste of Lodi, and their children, William, Casey, Jade, Amber Kolste and Jonna Ripp; his daughter, Kim (Doug) Quiding of Washington; a god daughter, Michelle Rolfe; and very close family friends, Chuck Hamilton and Bill Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to Marv's wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held. A private burial will be held at a later date. A celebration of life will be held at KD's Bar & Grill, N1434 Fair Street, Lodi on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family and a memorial fund will be established. The family would like to acknowledge the valuable support given by Agrace HospiceCare also John and Mary Brown.

There were never good byes, so as you would say dad, "I'll see ya when I see ya". Love and miss you already!!!
