Marthinus Taute

September 25, 1958 - August 6, 2016

Waunakee - Marthinus Philippus Taute, "Tinus" to his friends and family, age 57 of Waunakee, WI passed away in his home on Saturday, August 6, 2016, surrounded by family. He faced cancer with courage and embraced God's way. Tinus lived a full life, lifting those up around him until the last moment.
A proud United States citizen and immigrant from South Africa, Tinus was preceded in death by his mother, Margaretha Maria Taute, and is survived by his wife, Marja Taute, his four children, his father, sister, and many more family and friends.

His memorial service will be held at Cress Funeral Home (6021 University Ave, Madison, WI) on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00am. The service will be officiated by his close friend, Rev. Dawie Lusse.

The Taute Family extends the deepest gratitude to the staff at UW Hospital. Your care, kindness, and grace has been appreciated. You know who you are, and we are grateful for all you have done.
