Marilyn Zimmerman

Madison - Marilyn J. Zimmerman, age 83, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at The Villa at Middleton Village. She was born on May 9, 1934 to Michael and Josephine (Brewer) Daly in Madison. She was united in marriage to Walter Zimmerman on July 7, 1952. Marilyn enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and most of all her family, who brought her great joy.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Ruth Zimmerman, Sherrie (Ernest) Seay, Walter Zimmerman Jr, James (Jeannette) Zimmerman, William Zimmerman, Richard (Cathy) Zimmerman, Paul (Stacey) Zimmerman, Laura Zimmerman, and Michelle (Richard) Lofy; her grandchildren, Heather, Heidi, Gilbert, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Rachael, Kirsten, Aaron, Joseph, Raeannin, Jenna, Brian, Jason, Gregory, Steven, Samantha and Sawyer; her great-grandchildren, Colin, Leah, Lily, Caleb, Noah, Madeline, Madison, Owen and Charlotte; and her sister, Kathleen Sharp. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Katrina Joette; her granddaughter, Holly Lee; her great-granddaughter, Melanie; her sisters, Barbara, Judy and Geri; and her brother, David.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at GOOD SHEPHERD PARISH AT ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1905 W. Beltline Hwy, Madison with Msgr. Thomas F. Baxter presiding. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
