Marilyn L. Logan

Marshall

Marilyn Logan, a devoted wife and mother, passed away peacefully in her home on April 27, 2025. She was born December 26, 1938, to Merritt and Annie (Shirton) Ball in Lawrence, MA. Raised in Methuen, MA, she was the youngest of eight children. She married Robert Logan on July 18, 1959. They moved to Pittsburgh, PA where they raised three daughters.

One of her favorite past times was quilting and she loved having made individual and personalized quilts for each family member. She even made one for Bob with pictures of the blast furnaces he loved to research and find all over the countryside. Marilyn was a fierce card player and Scrabble family champion, winning with glee.

Marilyn and Bob also enjoyed traveling all over the country to spend time with their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, giving their entire family lots of wonderful memories to treasure. She loved to cook, experiment, and try new recipes to create scrumptious treats for her loved ones. And she was always willing to jump in and lend a hand to help anyone in need!!

She is survived by her husband, Robert, her daughters and their families: Susan (Logan) and Richard Lentz, Steven Lentz, Cassie (Lentz) and Nick McKnight, great grandson, Ollie; Laurie (Logan) and John Kommers, Ashley Kommers; Debra (Logan) and David Nichols, Sean Nichols, Conor Nichols, Rachel Nichols, Kelly (Nichols) and Hector Mata, great grandchildren, Aison, Leah and Mateo.
