Marie Watters

SUN PRAIRIE- Marie Annette Watters, age 80, passed away at her home on Friday, April 21, 2023.  She was born on November 4, 1942 to John W. Brown, Sr. and Corrine (Bolson) Brown.  Marie was a graduate of Arena High School.

Marie had various jobs in the community starting with housekeeping at UW Hospital, creating meals at Creekwood Assisted Living, and tending to passengers on the Kobussen Bus routes.

Marie was a kind, generous, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister.  She was incredibly proud and devoted to her family.

Marie is survived by her husband of 38 years Ron; children Karl Tollefson, Karla (John) Tollefson-Boyer, and Steve (Julie) Borman; step-children Ron (Stephanie Shapiro-Rowley) Watters, Jr., Balinda (Jesse Armstrong) Watters, Brenda (Garit) Hughes, Susan (Randy) Zimpel, and Billy (Theresa) Watters; 18 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.   She is further survived by her siblings Janice (John) Brill and Jack (Maggie) Brown, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Roger Brown and son Paul Borman.
