Marian Pawlowsky, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born on February 7, 1934, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Marian was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, remembered for her kindness, humor, compassion, and generous spirit.

She is survived by her four children: Toni Lynn, Mark (Michele), Timothy, and Jennie (Rob Davis). Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jason, Justin (Sherilyn), Jared, Carson (Megan), and Mikayla (Michael Elle); and her great-grandchildren: Ariana, Oliver, and Xavier. Marian was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 68 years, Anthony Pawlowsky; her parents, John and Florence Ratajczyk; her sister, Lucille Athas; and her brother, Donald Ratajczyk.

After graduating from South Division High School, Marian followed her caring nature by pursuing a degree in nursing at the Milwaukee School of Nursing. She dedicated herself to helping others throughout her life. As a member of NAMI of Dane County, she worked to raise awareness and support for those living with mental illness. She was also a member of the Women’s Architecture League (WAL).

Marian found joy in traveling, playing cards, and, above all, spending time with her family, whom she cherished deeply.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on April 10, 2026 at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. Family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
