Sun Prairie/Waterloo/Madison - Margery "Marge" Mae (White) Heitz, age 80 passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2014. She was born on May 7, 1933 the daughter of Fletcher and Loretta (Setz) White. She graduated in 1951 from Waterloo High School. On September 27, 1952, Marge was united in marriage to Gordon F. Heitz in Waterloo, Wisconsin. Together they raised five beautiful children. Marge drove school bus for her father for several years until she began working for the State of Wisconsin. She loved to keep busy. Marge was extremely artistic and very talented. She enjoyed traveling to many states with her husband, and later, with friends taking nine trips to Alaska. In her spare time she also enjoyed decorating, painting and most of all sewing and quilting. She enjoyed sewing everything from doll clothes to prom and wedding dresses. She made many quilts for her family and over 40 quilts for the Project Linus. Even though she was continuously utilizing her talents, she always cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

Margery is survived by her children; Debbie (Dennis) Hotmar of Waterloo, Cheryl (Ken, Sr.) Wenger of Waterloo, Eva (Gary) Ziegler of Dane, G. Michael (Robin) Heitz of Belgrade, MT, a daughter-in-law; Meg Turville-Heitz of Cambridge; grandchildren; Denise (Nick) Hauptli, Dan (Ali) Hotmar, Ken Wenger Jr., Rachel (Justin) Snethen, James (Samantha Hart) Schneider, Ryan (Alyssa Alba) Tenjum, Chad (Kristen) Ziegler, Neil (Maggie) Ziegler, Carla (Ryan) Ruhland, Mark Ziegler, Michael Heitz, Matthew Heitz, Marcus Heitz, Mason Heitz, Alexandria Heitz, Aleisha Heitz, Kelly Heitz, Brandon Heitz, Alan Heitz and Morgan Turville-Heitz; 12 great- grandchildren; Haydn, Paytn, Ava, Andrew, Victoria, Corbin, Sam, Sydney, Keira, Elliot, Taylor and Hailey, brother-in-law; Kenneth (Shirley) Heitz and sister-in-law; Catherine White. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon, son David and brother Donald White.

Funeral services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Robert Kosky officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of services. Private cemetery services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Marge's family would like to thank the staff at Sienna Crest, Marshall and Fort Atkinson, for their loving care of Mom over the last several years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Marge to the Rainbow HospiceCare, 147 W. Rockwell St., Jefferson, WI 53549 to honor them for all the wonderful care they provided to our mother.
