Margarete Anderegg

Margarete K."Oma" Anderegg age 82, passed away peacefully at home on February 25,th 2015. She was born on May 12, 1932 in Nurnberg, Germany. After growing up with her brother Franz during WWII, she learned great tenacity and strength. Margarete came to the United States in 1960, after marrying Hans Anderegg.
She worked hard her entire life and retired after 25 years at St.Mary's Hospital.
Margarete's greatest joy in life were her children, grandchildren and family pets. She went to every game, recital, and special event. Known to everyone around her as "Oma". She was a feisty little lady with a beautiful German accent.
Survived by two daughters, Angelika Fernholz, Madison, WI and Yvonne (Tom) Cooley of Sun Prairie, WI, four Grandchildren, Joseph Fernholz, Erika (Tim) Nagorske, Dylan Cooley, Shannon Cooley and a niece Michaela (Tom) Kapfer of Germany.
She was preceded in death by her brother Franz Josef Karl of Germany.
A time to gather with family and friends will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4 to 7pm.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for the loving care and attention given to our "Oma".
Thank you Mom for showing us how to be a strong woman and for being a loving mother and "The BEST Oma". God gained a beautiful angel.
