Margaret Wipperfurth

WAUNAKEE-WESTPORT-Margaret "Margie" Wipperfurth, age 76, died suddenly on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at a Madison Hospital. Margie was born in Westport on October 19, 1939, to Roman and Alice (Middleton) Ziegler. She married LeRoy "Tippy" Wipperfurth on July 31, 1958.She was employed for many years with the Middleton/Cross Plains School District in the food service program. She was a lifelong member of St Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Westport. Margie loved to read, garden, and especially loved to cook for family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy; five children, Cathy (fianc� Jeff) Kunes, Dixie Maier, Steven (Kay), Lori (Michael) Woodburn, and Tricia (Steven) Aeschlimann; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dave (Ruth) Ziegler; two sisters, Rosie Meffert and Linda( Fred) Meinholz; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Chad.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 5460 Mary Lake Rd, Westport. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Entombment will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Madison.
