Margaret Rintala

Margaret Ann Rintala, 81, a beloved mother and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025.

Margaret was born in Wakefield, Michigan, and spent her younger years in that area before moving to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, where she spent her later years.

Margaret possessed a rare combination of unwavering faith and playful humor. She carried a steady faith in God that shaped her life and was a source of great strength. This faith was balanced by her warm and gentle humor, which made people feel instantly at ease and often brought laughter to those around her. She was also a dedicated cat lover, and her feline companions were a constant source of comfort and joy throughout her life.

She is survived by her devoted sons, Jeff Lars Petersen and Aaron Michael Petersen; her cherished grandchildren, Kylee Ahleah Petersen and Bryce Murphy Petersen; and her sisters, Ardythe and Carol. Her family will always cherish the memory of her profound kindness, infectious laughter, and the many small, loving moments that defined her life and her spirit.

Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Paul Petersen.

A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family to honor and celebrate Margaret's life.
