Margaret A. Richter

Margaret A. Richter died Tue. Dec. 7, 2025, at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Oct. 1, 1928, to Max and Magdelene (Emmel) Richter. She graduated from Green Bay East High School then on to Oshkosh State Teachers College, transferring to Northwestern University, Chicago receiving a certificate as a medical technologist in 1950. She worked in a number of cities in Wisconsin and Denver, CO (1956-8). She retired in 1990 from Allen Bradley in Milwaukee. She moved to Madison to be closer to family. In 2005, she moved to Oakwood Retirement Village. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, golfing, knitting and going to estate sales but slowly her world got smaller as she got older.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Louise and brother-in-law, Henry Soder.

She is survived by her niece Christine Soder and her best friend of 70 years Laura Grimm.
