Margaret Corrigan

Madison, WI / Reading, PA - Margaret Corrigan, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2014 at Badger Prairie Health Care Center in Verona, WI. She was born on November 12, 1924 in Stoney Creek Mills, PA to William and Viola Sweitzer.
Margaret loved spending time with her family, singing with Robert in the church choir, playing the piano, traveling inside and outside the U.S., and collecting seashells during many of their ocean travels. She also was an excellent cook, sold Avon for a very long time, and worked at Santerians Clothing Store in Hatboro, Pa. for almost 25 years. Her caring, friendly, and gentle personality will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her children; Pamela (Greg Smith), Robert Jr. (Michele), Melinda (Scott Aldinger), William, and Sally; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased in death by her husband, Robert, her parents, and brother, Robert Sweitzer.
There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at SCHWARZWALD UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 75 Church Lane Road, Reading, PA 19606 followed by a Graveside Memorial Committal Service at SCHWARZWALD CEMETERY, adjacent to the church.
