Marcus Huntsman

Marcus Lawrence Huntsman passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2014. He was born February 13, 1991 in Beaver Dam WI and lived the majority of his life in Fond du Lac, WI. Marcus was proudly attending Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac where he was receiving A's in radiology technician program. Ever since he was small, Marcus always loved astronomy. One of his prized possessions was a telescope he got for a Christmas gift many years ago. He was a very intelligent and curious young man always wanting to know how and why things worked, not merely content to know that they worked. Marcus also got a great deal of satisfaction volunteering for the Habitat for Humanity project in Fond du Lac. He worked very hard at turning his life around from the difficulties he went through in his youth. This is what prompted him to attain his GED and go on to college so that he could help others. He is survived by his mother Laurie (Jim) Kamp, brother Michael Huntsman, sister Monica ( Patrick) Riley, grandmother Marge Beers, aunt Diana(Rob) Jensen, and many more family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Lawrence Beers and his great-grandparents Stanley and Eileen Schneider. Marcus now resides in the stars and nebulae that he so loved.

Services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, WI. A time of gathering for friends and family will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday.
